The 5 Key Elements of Effective Flight Training

ü   Program: Organized, effective PA46-specific training programs (Initial and Recurrent) with all of the proper approvals:

·                 FAA Industry Training Standards (FITS) Approved

·                 FAA Wings Approved

·                 Insurance Industry Approved

ü   Instructor: An experienced, dedicated, full-time instructor with Master CFI qualifications working exclusively in PA46 aircraft.

ü   Method: First-class, proven training methods, which take advantage of dedicated PA46 procedures and the latest technology to make a practical difference in your level of safety, confidence and comfort.

ü   Cost: A competitively priced program delivered when and where you choose.

ü   Insurance: Your training company should have their own aircraft insurance and liability insurance for training in your PA46 aircraft. Most instructor policies exclude pressurized and turbine powered aircraft, so be sure to get evidence (a certificate of insurance) that your instructor is properly insured in PA46 aircraft prior to any training. You should also ask your broker to add your instructor as named insured on your policy with a waiver of subrogation.

PA 46 Training with RWR Pilot Training

Are you ready to spread your wings and fly? RWR Pilot Training, located in Baltimore, MD, provides first-class, insurance approved PA-46 training for beginning and recurrent flyers of the Piper PA-46 aircraft family.

Serving as more than just a flight school, RWR Pilot Training delivers the best value for PA-46 training by equipping pilots and owners of PA-46 aircraft with relocation and consulting services that include pre-purchase activity and expert witnesses.

As a National Industry Member of the FAA Safety Team (FAASTeam), RWR Pilot Training aims to help you become a safer, more confident pilot with the skills needed to overcome tactical and practical obstacles.

Consisting of the Piper PA-46 Matrix, Malibu, Mirage and Meridian aircraft, our PA-46 aircraft training serves a pilot’s interest in the diverse benefits each aircraft has to offer. Whether it is the low noise and vibration levels of the turboprop-powered Meridian, the luxurious 6-person cabin space of the Matrix, the versatility, comfort and safety of the Mirage, or the speed and durability of the Malibu, the Piston PA-46 family of aircraft offers different benefits for everyone.

RWR Pilot Training offers a variety of training programs designed to suit novice and experienced PA-46 pilots alike. The different programs for initial pilot training are turbine training for flying the turboprop-powered Meridian aircraft for up to 40 hours over 5 consecutive days, and the piston training, which introduces the pilot to the Matrix, Malibu, and Mirage aircrafts for up to 30 hours over 4 consecutive days. All training programs are performance-based. They presume the pilot is rated and current for instrument flight, have at least 500 hours of Pilot in Command (PIC) time in high performance aircraft and have reviewed the Aircraft Flight Manual (AFM).

For pilots coming back for more, RWR Pilot Training also offers recurrent pilot training. These one-day recurrent programs are offered to pilots who have attended approved training within the last 6 months or continuing customers who meet specific performance and experience standards. Discounts are offered for multiple pilots training together in all programs.

Pilots new to PA-46 aircraft are often asked by their insurance underwriter to receive additional dual flight instruction of Initial Operating Experience from an approved instructor beyond what is normally given in a standard training program. RWR Pilot Training offers Supplemental Training at supplemental rates and includes flight planning, weather briefing, preflight and post flight inspections, classroom sessions and impromptu briefings as required up to eight hours per day.

If you’re a pilot looking to get quality, affordable pilot training in a Piper PA-46 Malibu, Matrix, Meridian or Mirage, then RWR Pilot Training is for you. Let us help you find the level of training you need to make you a safer and more confident pilot.

Flight Schools Meridian:

The turboprop-powered PA-46 Meridian allows passengers to experience low noise and vibration levels in the comfort of an air-conditioned, pressurized cabin environment with seating found in an aircraft costing twice as much. Those who undergo the PA-46 Pilot Training for he Meridian will handle an aircraft that prides itself as the workhorse of the Piper PA-46 family. The Meridian features the most advanced Garmin and Avidyne avionics available today needed to meet the challenges of your most demanding mission profiles.

With a range of 1,000 nautical miles and a 260-knot cruise speed, the Flight Into Known Icing (FIKI) approved Meridian features strong takeoff and landing performance, especially in high and hot conditions, and the ability to climb altitude quickly, efficiently topping most weather and turbulence.

Flight Schools Matrix:

The PA-46 Matrix allows the pilot to experience the privacy and comfort of a cabin-class airplane and the Matrix’s unpressurized simplicity while passengers enjoy the luxurious 6-person cabin space. With the largest cabin in its class, not only is the Matrix a more comfortable way to travel, but it also offers no compromises concerning performance and capability, a very important trait in PA-46 Pilot Training.

With a long range cruise range of 1,345 nautical miles and a 213-knot cruise speed, the Matrix operates on a piston engine at an altitude of 25,000 feet and is Flight Into Known Icing (FIKI) approved.

Flight Schools Mirage:

PA-46 Pilot Training in the Mirage is as safe as it is pleasant. Combining comfort with safety, the 6-person, piston-powered Mirage gives pilots great flexibility when planning their missions. The pressurized cabin allows for the Mirage to fly at a wide range of altitudes without worrying about increased fuel burn and a decline in range.

While featuring cabin pressurization, Flight Into Known Ice (FIKI), and 5.5 PSI, the Mirage can also travel 1,345 nautical miles at long range cruise and operates at a speed of 215 knots with a piston engine at an altitude of 25,000 feet.

Flight Schools Malibu:

Staking its claim as the world’s first cabin class, pressurized aircraft with a single piston engine, the Malibu serves as a one of Piper’s most reliable aircraft for PA-46 Pilot Training.

Introduced in late 1983, the Malibu has a long-range cruise speed of 1,345 nautical miles and operates at a speed of 230 knots.
